I always wanted to have a website called

"how cool are we.com", leaving all pretense of humility behind in a click.

Few people are comfortable with self-promotion;

I am one of those beings.

But, destiny demands I act in an inclusive way, dragging all of you, dear readers,

through the paces of my melodramatic life.

When we cut through the veil of illusion,

we are the same:

chaos, spinning, desperately searching

for meaning and self-identity,

while maintaining a calm exterior.

Okay, I admit it.

The only difference between you and me

is that I talk, write and reminisce,

usually publicly,

with the sound turned up too high.

It’s true that I am confessionary in nature

and bold in action,

say what few even dare to mumble.

Risking disapproval is the only way I know.

It’s the way of me, a big bossy broad.

Regardless of the origin of your curiosity,

I offer my hand. Take it and discover why you
